Baseball Playing Days

Bill DiIenno is one of the best athletes to ever come out of the State of Delaware. Bill excelled at both Football and Baseball at Newark High School in the late 1980’s.

Bill was named Diamond State Player of the year in Baseball in both his Junior and Senior Years in high school, and went on to star at the University of Delaware in the Early 1990’s. Bill helped the Blue Hens reach the NCAA Tournament in 1992 and finished his career as a 4 year starter. He would eventually reach the coveted 200 hit club.

After college Bill continued playing in the Delaware Semi-Pro league. He became 5th all-time in hits in this long historied league.

Bill also excelled at football. As a quarterBack and safety, Bill set many records at Newark and was named All-State multiple times.

Coaching Baseball Philosophy

As a baseball coach Bill DiIenno believes it takes hard work at the sport to become a great athlete. Work ethic and the desire to become your best is what Bill Stands for.

When Not Coaching Baseball

Currently Bill resides in Newark, Delaware with his new wife Kristine. Bill works in the technology sector as well for Siemans in Newark.
